Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SALCI collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as needed to run the Service.

What we collect

• Account info — email, username, display name, and optional country/favorite team you provide.
• Authentication — handled by Supabase Auth; we store your user id and email.
• Payment info — processed by Whop. We do not store your card details; we receive subscription status and a membership id.
• Usage data — basic logs and analytics needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

How we use it

• Provide and maintain your account and Pro entitlement.
• Process subscriptions and prevent fraud/abuse.
• Send account and (if you opt in) product emails.
• Improve model accuracy and the product.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers that help operate SALCI, each acting on our behalf:

• Supabase — accounts, authentication, and database (your user id and email).
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
• Whop — payments and subscription management. We never see or store your card number.
• Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google," which shares your name, email, and avatar to create your account.
• PostHog — privacy-respecting product analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the Service, routed through our own domain.
• Resend — sending account and support emails.

Sports data comes from public sources (MLB Stats API, Baseball Savant) and odds providers; they receive game/player identifiers, not your personal data. These providers are US-based, so using the Service involves processing your information in the United States.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies for sign-in and session management, and privacy-respecting analytics (PostHog) that records page views and feature usage in your browser's storage to help us improve the Service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell your data.

Data retention & your rights

We keep account data while your account is active. You can edit your profile or permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from your Account Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data — contact us to exercise them.

Security

Data is protected with row-level security, encrypted connections, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Children

SALCI is not directed to anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
